Are you sick of spending money on cheap crackers that just create landfill? Even if you spend more money the presents are never really any good and inevitably end up in the bin after being discarded on the dinner table. I was! But I love the look and the whole tradition of crackers. So I decided to make my own and buy thoughtful gifts for my guests. I of course started with vintage table linen and designed a snowflake to hand print on to each. I then finished the ends with decorative stitching. Using toilet roll inners, I wrapped the fabric around and tied ribbon at each end to keep in place.
But now the tricky bit! What to buy!!! We usually have a theme and try to make the gift useful and wanted! This year gifts will also be eco and bought from small businesses.
I have had a quick look around for possibilities. (shhh ….don’t tell my guests!)
